- Low Cost Generation is jazz understood as a living organism, connected to society, it is Duke Ellington’s voice as a ghost whispering ideas of freedom between sound effects, programming and the rhythm of the city. It is a gust of wind made of rapped words that kidnap you with the urban beat to try to wake the youth up from the mirage of comfort. Enriching their usual jazz basis with other styles such as Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop or Funk, the third record of The Last Minute Experience offers an attractive and fresh perspective of the harsh present-day reality. Along with drummer and composer Carlos López, the trio made up of the pianist Oscar da Graça and trumpeter Voro García bridge their Berklee education and the feelings in times of turbulence, where people have the need for expression. The band has been completed with the Spanish hip-hop rising star Escandaloso Xposito (team member of Kase’O Jazz Magnetism) and other usual talents from the house, such as DJ Panko (scratcher with international Spanish band Ojos de Brujo) and MC Stormy, hardened in the Londoner underground scene. Join their powerful music shock wave: If you wait till the last minute, reality might have already changed!
